WINTER SPIRIT was originally released in1989 on Alcazar Records. It has been out of print for decades and I have often received requests for this timeless album. Each year I think I should make it available again so now I'm happy to finally do it.

"Carols" is a medley of well known Christmas carols. It is the culmination of improvising I would do sitting around the Christmas tree each year entertaining myself and my family in the magical light of the tree and candles. Then there are Renissance and Baroque lute pieces including an arrangement I did of Bach's "Jesus Joy Of Man's Desiring". The album ends with a very spacious and meditative arrangement of "O Come, O Come Emmamuel". I hope you will enjoy this musical offering.
